This is me.
I love being outside. A lot. And I love children. Professionally, I’m a photographer, author, and yoga instructor. I like running, biking, writing, and meeting new people. But who I really am, at my core, is a believer. I had an actual coming-to-Jesus moment at age 21 that never ended. I was lost and searching for some truth and found Him.
Now, I want everything I do to lead back to Him. I recently wrote a book titled, “He Heals the Brokenhearted.” It’s all about accessing the Savior’s healing in your life so that you can get through the hard times. I’ve had my share of what I consider hard times and I’ve gotten through them with His help and His power and His healing.
I’m annoyingly an optimist. And a morning person. I know, it’s not good. I’m one of those people who lives by lists and task apps to get things done because my ADHD brain needs it. I love to volunteer and if I’ve done some service in a day, it’s been a good one.
I have a wonderful husband and three fun children I adore. They keep me on my toes, always going, always solving problems, and always on my knees. Family is everything to me. I did not grow up in a family situation that was healthy or optimal, but I always wanted a home full of love where everyone felt wanted and needed. Our family life can be hard work, our family is very diverse, there is a ton of love- and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Here’s a podcast I was on recently: GRITTY MAMAS
